NHLC developed a handbook on Native Hawaiian rights. The handbook addressed the need for a primer on this emerging field of law. The handbook is available for download here for $30. All proceeds go directly toward helping NHLC continue its service to the Native Hawaiian community.

In addition, NHLC has prepared brochures providing information about quiet title actions, co-tenancy relationships, and burial protection. Those brochures are available on this website.

NHLC also co-published a Dictionary of Hawaiian Legal Land-Terms, a reference book of Hawaiian words and phrases found in documents from the turn of the century. Edited by NHLC Board President Paul Nahoa Lucas, this publication is still relied upon by the courts as evidence of title to real property. The dictionary may be purchased at Native Books and Na Mea Hawaii.
